In 2021, the Ecuadorean government has started a bidding process for the acquisition of new generation capacity including renewable and conventional technologies. Similar bidding processes have been taking place in other countries of the region where we have been able to actively participate advising private investors and potential lenders on the opportunities and risks associated with the energy market environment.
