Power sector reform

Services provided: Develop, implement and/or propose enhancements in the power sector regulatory system to make the sector’s goals (privatization, local and regional commercialization) viable, market design and rules, restructuring of the generation, transmission and distribution sectors, regulatory framework, tariff regulation process, grid code, transmission regulation, including prices, quality of service, right to and use of the transmission system, and expansion and investment planning. The regulation of the distribution segment was developed, including quality of service, end-user tariffs, management plan for tariff transition, development of commercial and metering systems for the system operator and the system operator’s governance structure.
